Women of Influence has been taking a little break to recalibrate, although we have missed you! The WOI committee love all the planning and delivering of our events, we enjoy the time spent with our committee members, sponsor and charity partners. We love connecting with our community.
A CHANCE TO PIVOT
One of the challenges we faced as an organisation delivering live events was how we can get back to CONNECT, LEARN, GROW with our Women of Influence community. As fate would have it, out of struggle has come opportunity. For a long time we have been thinking of ways to engage our WOI community in between events.
This started with a few conversations with our Vice President, Jodi Robertson. We talked about sharing what the Women of Influence Committee are up to at this time.
Jodi is our very clever, positive leader, she is not only Vice President and true Woman of Influence, she is also a Regional Vice President and Independent Consultant for Arbonne International and an ELT teacher who speaks 5 languages including fluent Japanese. Jodi has not missed a beat, she continues to be motivated and proactive in connecting with her community.
Jodi’s word for 2020 is ‘SERVE” and there is no doubt that she is doing exactly that as she leads and trains her team, runs her own business and cares for her family and friends.
CONNECT - LEARN - GROW
This week Jodi and I took our discussions to the next step and started a video series. This is not to replace our events, but just to connect our community in the meantime.
The first videos will be of the WOI Committee sharing what we have been up to. The we will be having similar discussions with our partners and guests.
The sentiment is purely to stay in touch and share. It is true to our goal to help you to CONNECT, LEARN, GROW.
